About the  Fellowship

The DNS School of Digital Governance Fellowship is an intensive program aimed at mid-career professionals, civil society advocates, and government officials. The curriculum focuses on the intersection of technical DNS (Domain Name System) management and the socio-political frameworks of digital governance.

The digital landscape of 2026 presents unprecedented challenges—from the integration of AI-driven DNS security to the complexities of data sovereignty. Digital Space for Digital Governance, in partnership with the Success Bridge Community Development Foundation, is launching the DNS School of Digital Governance Fellowship. This initiative is a multi-stakeholder effort to build technical and diplomatic capacity among digital policy advocates in Africa and beyond.

Many digital governance conversations happen in silos. Technical experts often lack a seat at the policy table, while policymakers frequently lack a deep understanding of the underlying architecture of the internet (DNS). This gap leads to fragmented regulations that can inadvertently harm internet openness and security.

We are inviting Academic Stakeholders to join as Strategic Knowledge Partners. This is not a financial commitment, but a commitment to community empowerment.
